Printed on the back of clear, polished 1/4 inch acrylic on our own UV flatbed. Pick full white backing for solid color, spot white so the clear parts stay clear, or no white for a see through look. 18×24 $229 and 24×36 $379.

- What it does to an image
- Deep blacks, high gloss, color reads more saturated than on paperBest with strong contrast. A flat, low-contrast photo gains nothing

Acrylic is the most expensive way we print a photograph and, for the right image, the most convincing. It is also the one people most often misunderstand, so here is exactly what happens.
The image is printed on the back, not the front
Your file goes onto the reverse of a 1/4 inch sheet of clear, polished acrylic. Second surface printing. You look through the material at the image, and that clear acrylic is what produces the depth: the picture seems to sit inside the panel rather than on it. A photo mounted behind a sheet never quite does this.
Choose your white
Full White Backing puts a layer of white ink behind the whole image. It gives the color something solid to sit against, so the colors read full strength and nothing behind the acrylic shows through.
Spot White Backing puts white only behind your design. The design looks solid and bright, and the rest of the panel stays clear, so the wall shows around it. Send a PNG with a transparent background so we know exactly where the white goes.
Transparent (no white) prints the color straight onto the clear acrylic. Light passes through the whole piece and the colors look like tinted glass. It looks best where light comes through from behind, like a window, and softer against a solid wall.
