- Turnaround
- Standard 3 to 5 business daysStretching is a hand process. Canvas is not a same-day product
Canvas is the easiest way to put a photograph on a wall. No frame to choose, no glass to reflect the ceiling light, nothing to unpack beyond the piece itself. It arrives stretched, finished and ready for a nail.
Made here, in two stages
The canvas goes through our UV flatbed first, so the ink is laid directly onto the material and cured on the spot. There is no transfer, no laminate and no separate photographic paper. Then it is hand-stretched over kiln-dried timber bars and the hanger is fitted, all in the Elmont shop.
That second stage is why canvas is not a same-day product. Stretching cannot be rushed without the surface going slack later.
What the gallery wrap does to your image
The canvas wraps around the sides of the frame, so roughly an inch and a half of your image disappears around the edge. On a landscape that is invisible. On a group photo with someone near the edge, it will crop them.
Send the file with room around the subject and it will look how you expect. If your image is tight to the edges, say so in the order notes and we will mirror the edges instead. The sides become a reflection of the border rather than eating into the picture.
