The most cost-effective way to put more than one page of information into somebody’s hand. Folded, not bound, and priced so that giving them away in volume is not painful.
Pamphlet or brochure. The real difference
People use the two words interchangeably and then get a surprise. Here is the honest distinction as we print them:
Pamphlet. Lighter 80lb text stock. Folds beautifully, weighs almost nothing, posts cheaply, and usually costs less than a brochure. Made to be handed over and eventually thrown away.
Brochure. Heavier 100lb or card stock. Stands up in a display rack without slumping and feels substantial. Made to be kept.
If you are doing a door drop, a class handout, a church bulletin, an information sheet or a mailing, you want a pamphlet. If it is going in a rack in a hotel lobby, you want the brochure.
Folds and panels
8.5×11 flat, folded to roughly 3.7×8.5 tri-folded or 5.5×8.5 half-folded. Tri-folded it drops into a #10 envelope, which makes it a genuinely cheap mailer.
