A ticket has two jobs: get someone through the door and leave you with a stub you can count. Ours are printed on card, perforated so the stub tears clean, and numbered if you need to reconcile the take.
Size
2.75×5.5 is the classic ticket. Fits a wallet, big enough for the event, date, seat and a sponsor logo.
2×5.5 is the slim raffle-style ticket.
2.75×8.5 gives room for terms, a map or a tear-off coupon.
Stock
14pt gloss is the standard: stiff enough for a pocket and a door check, and it takes color well.
100lb gloss text is lighter and thinner, for raffle style tickets handed out in quantity.
16pt premium is our thicker card, for a ticket that is also a keepsake.
The stub
We print, cut and perforate every ticket in our shop. The stub is the right end of the ticket: the perforation runs 1.5 in from the right edge on 2.75 x 5.5 and 2 x 5.5 tickets, and 2 in from it on 2.75 x 8.5 tickets. Design the ticket landscape with the stub on the right (or portrait with the stub at the bottom), and keep words 1/8 in away from the perforation so it tears clean. Pick No perforation for a ticket with no stub.
