How to set up your gatefold card

Two pages, each 14.25 x 5.25 in with 1/8 in bleed. The folds are 3.5 in in from each end.
Page 1 is the outside: the back is the middle panel. The front is the two doors, so its left half goes on the right end panel and its right half on the left end panel: our template marks them.
Page 2 is the inside: the left door, the middle and the right door, as the card opens.
Keep words 1/8 in from the folds and the edges, and off the line where the doors meet.

A card with an entrance. The front is two doors that meet in the middle. Open them and the whole inside spreads out 14 in wide. Made for wedding invitations, save the dates, grand openings, holiday cards and announcements that deserve a reveal.

Creased by machine, folded by hand

We print the card flat, 14 x 5 in, crease both folds on our Duplo so they fold clean without cracking, and fold every card by hand. Closed it is 7 x 5 in and fits an A7 envelope.

Setting up your file

Send two pages, each 14.25 x 5.25 in with 1/8 in bleed. On page 1, the outside, the back of the card is the middle panel and the front is the two doors: the front’s left half goes on the right end panel and its right half on the left end panel, as the doors fold in. Page 2 is the inside, the way it opens. Our template marks every panel, so start from it.
