If you are reading this you are probably organizing something difficult under time pressure. Here is what you actually need to know.
What you get
A wallet size card people keep. Your photo and the prayer or verse are printed in full color at 2.625 x 4.125 in, usually the photo on the front and the words on the back, then sealed in clear gloss laminate. The finished card is 2.75 x 4.5 in, with a thin clear edge all around, and it holds up for years in a wallet, a purse or a Bible.
You do not need artwork or a designer
Send us a photograph and the wording. That is enough. We will lay it out, send you a proof, and print it. If you want a verse or a prayer and have not chosen one, ask. We keep a library and can suggest something appropriate.
The photograph does not need to be perfect. An old print, a phone snap of a framed picture, a scan with a crease in it: all of these are workable, and we will retouch dust, scratches and creases at no charge. Send us the best you have and we will tell you honestly if it will not hold up at print size.
If you have your own design
The file to send is 2.875 x 4.375 in at 300 DPI. That includes 1/8 in of bleed on each edge, which is trimmed off, so the finished print is 2.625 x 4.125 in. Keep names, dates and text at least 1/8 in inside the finished edge. A PDF with the front on page 1 and the back on page 2 is ideal.
Tell us the date of the service
Standard turnaround is 3 to 5 business days, but that is a default, not a rule.
Call us if the service is sooner. We have turned these around same day. Rush pricing applies and we will tell you exactly what it costs before you commit. But the date comes first.
