Foam board is what you use when the sign has to look sharp, stand on its own, and weigh nothing. A stack of 24 × 36 boards goes under one arm. It is the default for conference displays, presentation boards, real-estate open-house boards, retail window cards and anything that lives on an easel for a week.
Indoor only. And we mean it
The core is polystyrene foam with paper on both faces. Paper and weather do not mix: one rain shower and the facing lifts, the core drinks water and the board bows permanently. There is no coating that fixes this. If the sign is going outside for even a day, order Coroplast or PVC / Sintra instead. Both are plastic through and through.
How to display it
On an easel. The classic use. Rigid enough to stand without curling.
On a wall. Foam tape or hook-and-loop. It is light enough that adhesive holds fine.
