The thing that makes the crowd shot. Senior night, a playoff run, a stag do, a birthday, a retirement. One giant face in a sea of people and everybody gets their phone out.
Printed onto the board, not onto paper stuck to it
Most big heads are a print mounted onto foam board. Ours are printed directly onto the quarter-inch board on our UV flatbed, with the ink cured on contact. There is no paper layer to bubble, no laminate edge to peel, and no seam where the print meets the board. It costs more to make and it lasts a great deal longer. These survive a season in a car boot, which a mounted print does not.
The white border is on purpose
We contour cut around the head and leave a slight white offset following the outline. Two reasons, and both matter:
It reads from distance.
