Most ceiling tile printing means buying somebody else’s tile. This is the opposite. You send us the tiles, we print them.
That distinction matters more than it sounds. A drop ceiling is almost always already installed, and the tile sitting in it is a specific product: a particular texture, edge profile, acoustic rating and shade of white. Order a printed tile from a catalog and it drops into the grid looking subtly wrong. Different white, different edge, different depth. Send us the tile you already have, and the printed one matches everything around it because it is everything around it.
We print directly onto the face of your tile on our UV flatbed press in Elmont. The ink cures instantly under UV light, so nothing soaks in, sits wet, or lifts later. Full color, photographic quality, right to the edge if you want it.
Where these actually get used
Children’s hospitals and paediatric units.
This is the one that matters most, and it is the reason the product exists. A child lying flat on a gurney, in an imaging holding bay, or in a treatment room is looking at exactly one thing: the ceiling. Printed tiles turn that into a sky, a forest canopy, an underwater scene, a constellation map. Plenty of departments go further and use them as a distraction tool. An I spy grid, a counting puzzle, a search-and-find. A nurse who can say “find me the orange balloon” has bought thirty seconds of calm during a cannulation, and thirty seconds is a very long time to a frightened seven-year-old.
Dental practices and orthodontists.
